Accomack County VA, NASA Goddard Space Flight Center's (GSFC), Wallops Flight Facility and the Marine Science Consortium have joined forces with other stakeholders to establish a research park focused on commercial aerospace, applied earth science and educational offerings.

The WRP’s day-to-day activities are managed by the WRP executive director. The WRP executive director’s activities are overseen by the Accomack County administrator. The WRP executive director also reports to the WRP Leadership Council.
