The Wallops Complex is home to:

Wallops Flight Facility, NASA’s principal facility for management and implementation of sub-orbital research and emerging medium-class orbital space flight programs.
Mid-Atlantic Regional Spaceport, one of four fully licensed commercial spaceports nationally, MARS in partnership with NASA offers commercial, government and academic clients comprehensive low cost, reliable and safe capabilities.
The base of operations for Orbital Sciences Corp.'s program to assemble, test and launch the Taurus II vehicle including a joint NASA and Orbital cargo delivery demonstration mission - COTS - to the International Space Station.
The U.S. Navy's Surface Combat Systems Center with the AEGIS Engineering and Training Complex, Wallops Island Engineering Test Center, and Ship's Self Defense Facility.

Wallops Flight Facility provides segregated airspace for UAV research and operations of both fixed wing and rotary wing Unmanned Air Vehicles.
