Assets
202 acres of prime property adjacent to NASA Wallops Flight Facility (WFF) and minutes from the Mid-Atlantic Regional Spaceport (MARS) – offering a premier opportunity to conduct rocket science and aviation testing.
• Access to WFF’s aerospace research facilities including runways up to 8750’ on FAA-towered airfield with NASA controlled class D and restricted airspace.
• Access to WFF’s payload processing facility.
• Enterprise Zone and Foreign Trade Zone status
The Wallops complex is home to:
Virginia provides a business-friendly environment offering streamlined environmental processes. With a pro-business climate coupled with strategic sites at WRP, an abundant, motivated and well-educated workforce and a superior educational system, Virginia provides a combination of assets needed for success.

Utilities
In 2002, the average rate for listed power companies in Virginia was more than 18 percent lower than the national average. (VEDP)
Wallops Research Park is serviced by A&N Electric Cooperative (ANEC).
• Reliability: ANEC’s system, which is served by the PJM regional transmission network, is a short distance away from a new 312-megawatt generating station. Facilities are routinely upgraded to incorporate reliability innovations. Substations are remotely operated and supervised with SCADA.
• Adequacy: ANEC is one of twelve member/owners of Old Dominion Electric Cooperative (ODEC) of Richmond, VA, which provides its wholesale power and energy from a diverse portfolio of generating and market resources.
• Quality: ANEC’s service quality meets and usually exceeds ANSI standards. It maintains a complement of state-of-the-art monitoring devices in case customers need assistance regardless of whether issues are utility-related or on the customer side of the meter.
• Customer Focused & Responsive: ANEC’s headquarters is staffed with friendly, technically skilled people in nearby Tasley, VA that are there to help customers solve problems.
• Flexible Rates: As a cooperative, ANEC is committed to offering its members the lowest rates possible consistent with reliable service. It offers a range of rates from simple energy and energy/demand to time-of-use tariffs.
Water
Wallops Research Park water and wastewater demands will be serviced and administered by the Wallops Research Park Service District through the reserve capacity that currently exists on the NASA facilities.
Water Supply
Currently NASA has a water system capacity of 600,000 gallons per day (GPD) with an 85,000 GPD usage. The anticipated WRP water usage has been estimated to be 115,000 GPD.
Wastewater Treatment
Currently NASA has the capacity to treat 300,000 GPD of wastewater while their current usage is approximately 68,000 GPD. The anticipated generated wastewater from WRP has been approximated to be 85,000 GPD.
Broadband
Through the Eastern Shore Broadband Initiative, Ethernet services from 1 Mb/s to 10Gb/sec; SONET services from T1 to OC-192 and dedicated Internet services from 1Mb/s to 1G/sec are available. For specific information on pricing or services available please contact npascaretti@esvabroadband.net
